 Over one hundred UTM students turned out for the UTMSU Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the South Building Council Chamber on November 26. The proceedings were civil and polite throughout, despite a few objections raised by two or three students in attendance.

The Peel HIV/AIDS network held an event last Wednesday at the Unitarian Congregation in Mississauga in order to raise awareness on HIV and AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). Focus was also on youth and their perception of racism, homophobia and stigma often attribute to the illness in society. World AIDS Day, which is on Monday, December 1, seeks to raise awareness about AIDS. |
